(Español más abajo) **ENGLISH** This is a classic ribbed beanie. It has a very simple construction and it adapts easily to different head sizes. You can use two strands of fingering weight yarn or a single strand of DK weight yarn. It’s a classic design, perfect for gifts. Same size double pointed needles (DPNs) for the crown (or longer circular needles to do magic loop). • 4 markers. • Tapestry needle. **YARN** Two strands of fingering or light fingering weight yarn in two different colours. You can also use a single strand of DK weight yarn. • Colour 1 (C1): 235 m / 260 yards. I used Qing Yak Single in the Honeycomb colourway (brown). • Colour 2 (CC): 225 m / 245 yards. I used Life in the Long Grass Fine Sock in the Andisol colourway (teal). **GAUGE** 30 st and 30 rounds in 10 cm / 4” in a 1x1 rib stitch (unstretched). Gauge is not too important for this pattern as it’s a very stretchy fabric and it fits different sized heads. It’s only important to match gauge if you have a limited amount of yarn and you want to be able to knit it with the yardage given above. **SIZE AND DIMENSIONS** One size. It fits adults and children over the age of 10. Dimensions: 20 cm / 8” wide and 24 cm / 9.45” long (with the cuff folded). **LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY** This is a very easy pattern, suitable for beginners. The most difficult part is the tubular cast on but I offer a couple of easier alternatives in the pattern. Tienen una construcción muy sencilla y se adapta muy bien a distintos tamaños de cabeza. Puedes usar dos hebras de grosor fingering de distintos colores o una sola hebra de grosor DK (si no sabes cómo funciona lo de los grosores, echa un vistazo a este tutorial). Es un diseño clásico perfecto para regalar. Yo usé Life in the Long Grass Fine Sock en color Andisol (azul-verde). **MUESTRA DE TENSIÓN** 30 puntos y 30 vueltas en 10 cm en elástico 1/1 (sin estirar). La tensión no es muy importante para este patrón ya que, al ser un tejido elástico, se adapta bien a cualquier talla. Solo es importante que te coincida la tensión si tienes la lana muy justa y necesitas poder tejerlo con las cantidades que se dan más arriba. **TALLA Y DIMENSIONES** Talla única. Es un gorro para adultos aunque parece servir bien a partir de los 10 años. Dimensiones: 20 cm de ancho y 24 cm de largo (con el elástico doblado). **NIVEL DE DIFICULTAD** Es un gorro muy fácil, apropiado para principiantes. Lo más difícil es el montaje tubular, pero doy un par de alternativas más fáciles en el patrón y también incluyo enlaces a vídeos de las distintas técnicas.
