* No weaving in ends

* Let’s finish this project before the new year! check-in posts on December 4th, 11th, 18th
Needle Size: US 4 -long cable (equal or greater than 32
in)
Yarn: Sock or Fingering weight minis or scraps - there are no rules! 10 (12) rows will use almost all of a 20g mini.
Finished size:
Large size: (24x 20g minis) - 84 in long x 28 in wide
Smaller size: (20x 20g minis) - 66in long x 28in wide
Gauge: 20sts x 40 rows in stockinette
This shawl is knit in the round and then steeked - making a rectangular wrap/shawl. The addition of a buttonhole/button makes an easily folded triangular shawl. The larger size is more suitable as a wrap/scarf.
The steeked panel unravels (as planned! don't panic!) for instant fringe. This also hides all those pesky ends so there is no weaving in ends at the end of the project.
****Just a reminder:
Large size: wrap/scarf
Smaller (still large) size: wrap/shawl
What does this mean:
The large size is longer. You can wear it buttoned with a triangle point in the front but the two points will likely not overlap.
The smaller size is shorter. This makes it easier to have the two points overlap.
So, it comes down to this:
Want the points to overlap/worn as a triangle: small size.
Want a giant, cozy, wearable blanket: large size. ****
