DRK Everyday Sweater

I have thought a lot about what I reach for time and again in my closet, and how much that choice affects my mood for the day. I have found myself wanting to make and wear wardrobe staples that come to life in the details and go with everything in my closet! The DRK (DreaReneeKnits) Everyday Sweater is knit from the top down (meaning you can try it on as you go and add length to suit your own personal style!), beginning with the collar. You will separate the sleeves placing them on hold while the body is finished and then the sleeves are returned to the needle, picking up stitches for the underarm for a totally seamless sweater! **SIZES** 1 (2, 3, 4, 5)(6, 7, 8, 9) #sizeinclusive **FINISHED BUST CIRCUMFERENCE** 34 (38, 42, 46, 50)(54, 58, 62, 66)” 86.5 (96.5, 106.5, 117, 127)(137, 147.5, 157.5, 167.5) cm *Recommended ease is + 2 - 4”/5 - 10 cm (although my test knitters tried out everything from no ease all the way up to 10"/25.5 cm with great success); sample is shown in Size 2 on a 35”/89 cm bust with 3”/7.5 cm of positive ease, she is 5’5” tall.* **YARN REQUIREMENTS** *These are just approximations. This 2-ply is perfect for sweater knitting and easily ranks among my favorite yarns thanks to its woolly feel, springy twist and natural colors.* Mountain Meadow Tweeds (100% Mountain Merino) 185 yds/56 g 6 (6, 7, 8, 8)(9, 10, 11, 12) skeins Flint **SUGGESTED NEEDLES** Main Fabric: US 5/3.75 mm - 16”/40 cm to 40”/100 cm circular & preferred needles for small circumference (Magic Loop or DPNs) Sleeve Fabric: US 6/4 mm - Preferred needles for small circumference (Magic Loop or DPNs) *see Notes on pg. 3 Ribbing: US 3/3.25 mm - 16”/40 cm circular for collar, 32”/80 cm to 40”/100 cm for hem & preferred needles for small circumference for cuffs. *(Use the needle size you need to achieve gauge.
