You could easily also hold two strands of fingering weight yarn double to meet the dk gauge. I suggest using a yarn that will feel soft against the ears, face, and back of neck. **Color Choice** The sample is shown in two high-contrast colors, but you can make it with any number of colors or combination you choose.
