The occasion should be marked by a lot of fun and games, and this design is Önling’s contribution to that. The task was: Make a design for the Fanø International Knit Festival in our delicious Shetland wool, Önling No 20 by Hanne Falkenberg, and perhaps also our Silk Mohair Önling No 10. Both yarns come in a huge number of pretty colors, so there are countless combinations to choose from. Mie from Customer Service did not doubt for a second that it had to be a vest to keep us warm when fall and winter arrive in a little while. The color illustrates the color of falling leaves. Color B: Cognac (3138): (75)75(75)75(75)100(100)125(125) g The vest is worked all the way through with 1 strand of each No 20 and No 10 held together. **Needles and notions** Recommended circular needles sizes 5 and 3 1⁄2 mm / US 9 and 4, 80 cm / 32 inches long Stitch markers **Gauge** 18 sts and 26 rows/rounds of stockinette stitch on needle size 5 mm / US 9 = 10x10 cm / 4x4 inches **Procedure** The vest is worked from the bottom up in the round to the armhole and then divided into front and back, which are finished separately.
