Basket Wave

This is a crochet pattern for a tapestry crochet basket (in English and in Spanish). This crochet pattern is suitable for beginners who are familiar with tapestry crochet. If you will use relatively thin yarn like I did, the bottom of your basket will not be very firm. The pattern includes: 1. Written instructions in US terms. 2. Abbreviations used. 3. Links to the photo tutorials on my website (www.nordichook.com) for all the stitches used in this project. 4. Pattern notes. 5. Photo instructions showing the main steps how to make a basket. 6. A color chart and explanations how to read it. Materials you will need: Any thin yarn. I used Strik & smil “Art silk garn”, 100% viscose, 50 g (white and green). Crochet hook (size recommended on your yarn label). I used size 2.0. Tapestry needle Optional: a piece of transparent mousse cake film or a few stripes of paper (to make the edge of the basket more firm).
