Sholach Mosaic Afghan

I designed 'Sholach' for my friends Kelly, Craig and their family who run Sholach Christmas Tree Farm in Scotland. It is created using the overlay mosaic technique. The PDF includes 6 easy-to-read charts (with X’s for DCs) for each pattern, along with corresponding written instructions. Two PDFs are available—one using US terms and one using UK terms. ****************************************************** You can use any yarn and corresponding hook you like for this pattern, just remember that a tighter tension is better for mosaic crochet. If using Stylecraft Special Aran, you will need approximately 20 skeins for the main body of the blanket. (not including a border) • 10 skeins for colour A • 10 skeins for colour B Between 3858 - 4501 yards (3528 - 4116 metres) This will create a blanket approximately 155cm x 115cm (61” x 45”) without a border.
