Notes From the Designer: The calming blues and exceptionally soft yarn used in this shawl have me yearning for those cool mornings when a light layer of warmth and a cup of tea is the perfect way to start the day. I can just imagine sitting on a back porch, gazing across a lake as the early mist begins to rise. This triangular shawl begins in the center and works outward in rows made of simple combinations of single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet stitches. The border design utilizes three different stitch patterns. The first combines popcorn stitches and single crochet worked in light blue, set between simple rows of grey, providing a nice contrast in both color and texture. For a smaller shawl, stop after this section.
