Trail Head Mitts

The Trail Head Mitts are the perfect hiking companion. The simple slip stitch patterning creates a beautiful fabric that is thick, warm, and full of texture. The mitts are worked in the round from the bottom up. Stitches are increased for the gusset and then placed on scrap yarn or a stitch holder while the rest of the mitt is worked. The thumb stitches are then placed back on the needles to be worked in the round.
