These flower mittens are made with worsted weight yarn, perfect for deep cold! To make smaller (child sized) mittens, try working them in a DK weight. I posted a new version of this pattern on 3/31/22. Changes include: 1. Slightly different stitch counts 2. Separate palm pattern 3. Improved thumb pattern and instructions.
