Make a scrumptious, delicious, flowery baby blanket, or even a full blanket, using fun and squishy peony granny squares and companion squares. The pattern comes with full instructions on making two types of granny squares that are interchangeable, one with a raised peony or rose in the middle, one flat, a pattern for a leaf border, charts for the simple square and the border, plus videos of all parts of this pattern (see below for links). **Skill level** The skill level required to easily make this blanket is intermediate to advanced. You will work with cluster stitches and around surface posts that are parts of these clusters. All the stitches as presented in detail and shown in the videos, so even beginners can learn to make them, but it takes patience and dedication. Once you have made the swatch, the pattern is easy to follow. **Finished size** One square made using recommended yarn measures 13 cm or 5” across. The blanket consisting of 30 squares, arranged in a 5 by 6 grid (see page 8 for diagram), will measure 65 cm by 78 cm or 25” by 30”, baby blanket size.
