It's a simple navy number, all stockinette, knit in pieces and seamed. My grandmother must have knit hundreds of this style of sweater. I cherish my hand-me-down because not only is it full of sentimental value for me but it’s also the PERFECT cardigan! Gartrell is my attempt at recreating Grammy’s signature look. I’ve kept the seams for structure, maintained the shape, added pockets and worked up a super fun colour blocked version for my daughter that my Grammy would have loved! Knit it in a solid colour or go to town on your scrap bin.
