Knitted from the top down, with a delicate, yet simple lace pattern, commencing at the neckline of the raglan and running down to the hemline at the front and back. No seaming required. This pattern would work well in a soft merino yarn or a soft cotton. Pattern has been graded as suitable for the Intermediate knitter. Yarn used for the pictured garment was ‘the Australian wool store’ Australian superfine merino 8 ply, colour Parchment. -- Approx 117m (128 yds) per 50 gram ball. YARN REQUIREMENTS [A] -- 140 g -- 330 m -- 360 yds [B] -- 160 g -- 375 m -- 410 yds [C] -- 185 g -- 435 m -- 475 yds [D] -- 225 g -- 525 m -- 575 yds [E] -- 265 g -- 620 m -- 680 yds [F] -- 300 g -- 700 m -- 770 yds [G[ -- 335 g -- 785 m -- 860 yds NEEDLES REQUIRED One pair 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) circular needles, 40cm (16in) and 60cm (24in) long One set of double pointed 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles. OTHER MATERIALS 8 stitch markers, 1 to be in a contrast colour. Darning needle to sew in ends. TENSION 22 sts x 30 rounds = 10 cm (4in) worked in stocking stitch on 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles.
