You start to shape the yoke with a modified raglan construction with additional yarn over increases that make the eyelet pattern, for the length of the armscye. Then the sleeve stitches are placed on hold and you work the body down to the final length. Then you pick up the sleeve stitches to work the sleeves in the round.
