This simple table runner looks elegant and can be made at any length depending on the amount of yarn you have! **Yarn**: Fingering Weight Yarn. Fingering weight yarn is held double to produce a DK weight. Any fingering or DK weight yarn, at any price point, can be substituted so long as gauge is met. **Sample Yarn**: KnitPicks Lindy Chain (180 yd. / 50 g per ball) – 3 balls (for a total of 540 yds. / 150 g) **Colorway**: Serrano **Needles**: Size US 7 (4.5mm) **Notions**: 4 stitch markers and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends **Unblocked Gauge**: 18 stitches by 24 rows = 4 square inches **Blocked Gauge**: 17 stitches by 27 rows = 4 square inches **Blocked Dimensions**: Width by Length - 12” by 32.25” (30.5 cm by 82 cm) **A Note About Sizing**: This pattern is easy to size up or down depending on your table size, the amount of yarn you have, and your personal preferences. If you want to make the table runner wider or narrower, simply add or subtract stitches to your cast-on. The lace edges of the table runner are a fixed number of stitches, but adding or subtracting stitches to the cast-on will change the number of stitches in the center stockinette panel. Additionally, it is easy to make the table runner longer or shorter by adding or subtracting one or more pattern repeat.
