Knee high socks ... for when shorter socks just won't do! Take two balls of yarn ... or lots of leftovers ... and keep on knitting! The Basic 4ply Knee High socks are constructed as top down socks with calf shaping and a heel flap and gusset. The heel is knitted in heel stitch which creates a durable, cushioned heel. This pattern can be used on its own or in conjunction with the Winwick Mum Sockalong tutorials which are available for free here: https://bit.ly/Sockalong which makes them an ideal knit for beginners.
