Winglet Mitts

For lovers of winged things and the natural world :) These quick to knit, lepidoptera inspired mitts feature an embossed motif of an affable moth (not of the wool eating kind, promise!). The motif is deceivingly simple to create - knits, purls, basic decreases, some yarn overs and possibly one or two new techniques for you to learn, is all it takes to make these little winged friends. SIZE Youth (Small, Medium, Large) FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Hand circumference: 16 (17, 18.5, 19.5) cm/ 6¼ (6¾, 7¼ , 7¾) inches Total Length: 15.5 (16, 17, 18) cm/ 6 (6¼, 6¾, 7) inches Model has a hand circumference of approx. 18 cm/ 7 inches. The grey sample is size small, the bright purple is size medium. MATERIALS Recommended Yarn: 1 skein of Neighborhood Fiber Company Studio Sock (Fingering weight/ 4 ply - 100% Superwash Merino, 366 meters/ 400 yards - 114 g) Shown in colours Federal Hill (light grey), Lauraville (lavender purple) and Concord Point (bright purple) (You will only need approx half of a skein.
