Blue River Canyon Twin Bedspread

This 7-panel blanket works up quickly for such a large piece, and has a fun, dramatic appearance. You can produce one panel at a time, in between projects or whenever you have time. Each panel is crocheted into both sides of one starting chain to produce the mirrored effect in each panel, and then the panels are joined and a border added. This project can be made at little material expense, as heavy worsted weight acrylic yarn is perfect for it. One could substitute pale pink and burgundy (or light yellow and goldenrod) for colors 1 & 2 to achieve a different color palette. Pattern was inspired by a picture I saw online long ago. Wanted to try my hand at writing a pattern. Materials: • Size H—J crochet hook (I crochet quite loosely and used an H hook, but tighter stitchers will want to size up their hook. • Red Heart Super Saver Colors: – 2 skeins Aruba Sea (color 1) – 2 skeins Real Teal (color 2) – 3 skeins Café Latte (color 3) – 2 skeins Coffee (color 4) – 4 skeins Black Thank you and enjoy!
