Lush lemonade socks

Like a lot us knitters, I always love to have a sock project on the go even during the warmer months. Even though Summer isn’t typically seen as a time to knit, I think it`s good to celebrate every season and wanted to create a pair of socks that are perfectly Summery and fun. And nothing feels more like Summer than fresh lemonade. These socks are knit from the cuff down with a 2 x 2 ribbed cuff, stripes, a ribbed heel-flap and gusset and have a section of colourwork on the leg and on the foot before decreasing for the toe. This pattern uses the magic loop circular needle method (but can be knit with dpns). **Size** 1, (2, 3, 4,) Length of foot is adjustable according to your own foot length. Foot circumference Size 1: 18cm – 19cm / 7”, Size 2: 20cm – 21cm / 8”, Size 3: 21.5 – 22.5cm / 8.5” Size 4: 23cm – 24cm / 9” **Gauge required and needle size** Sizes 1 & 3: 38sts x 40 rounds (using 2.25mm (US 1), or whichever needle required to achieve this gauge). Sizes 2 & 4: 34sts x 38 rounds (using 2.5mm (US 1.5), or whichever needle require to achieve this gauge). **Yarn** These socks were designed with John Arbon`s Exmoor Sock 4ply yarn. 200m per 50 grams. Composed of 60% Exmoor Blueface / 20% Corriedale / 10% Zwartbles / 10% Nylon. However, any fingering weight 4 ply sock yarn can be used, approximately 310m (339yds) in total.
