I am so very, very excited to introduce you to my latest creation, Ardith Aurelia Sunshine, the ❤️ child of Atlanticus and Lilliana. Oh my goodness! Did this young lady ever put me through my paces, but I have been told that beautiful children can often be temperamental. Come and join me on an adventure that is sure to keep you glued to the edge of your seat and will definitely have you shouting at the hubby to “shooooosh! I’m counting!”. Through fields of flowers and hints if the magical ocean, this blanket will take your crochet adventures to new heights. I cannot wait to see all the mind-boggling gorgeousness that we are about to embark on. It’s a definite SQUEEEEEE moment. Grab your hook, get your yarn and find a comfy spot, we are off on another journey of love and stitches. Ardith Big Girl is written to make a 150cm x 150cm blanket. It uses US terminology and is worked in rounds. Skill level - Intermediate **Material list:** * DK yarn of your choice - I used Colourspun DK Cotton. * 4mm hook * Scissors * Needles for sewing in ends * Stitch markers In the prelude (beginning pages) of the pattern you will find detailed stitch tutorials, yarn quantities used for two of the colourways and many many more bits of useful info! There are two downloads: **Ardith Big Girl** - written pattern with full photo tutorials **Ardith Big Girl Print Friendly** - pattern without photo tutorials **Ardith Yarn Info** - this download includes all yarn info /quantities as well as yarn placement for all colourways. Certain colourways were designed in ColourSpun DK Cotton while others were designed with a combination of ColourSpun DK Cotton and Moya Shimmer. All colourways are worked with a 4mm hook. You are more than welcome to work the blanket in any yarn of your choice. However, depending on the yarn and tension, you may have a size difference.
