The winter holidays are over, it's dark, and the cold is everywhere. It's a good time to turn inwards, to take stock, and to gather our strength for the growth and newness of the Spring to come. Winter invites is to be patient, to plan and work with care, and to sow our gardens with the seeds that we want to see take root in the coming year. The Winter Garden sweater is knit with sport weight yarn at a loose gauge, which gives it a lovely drape and warmth. It has a boat neck, a St. John's Wort lace hem, and a cropped shape that's perfect for layering over dresses and high waist jeans. Like a winter garden it is quiet, beautiful, and practical. It also uses a fairly minimal amount of yarn, so if you have some skeins that you thought were not quite enough for a sweater, this may be the pattern for you! **Sizes**: 32 (36, 40, 44, 48)\[52, 56, 60, 64, 68\] inch chest circumference.
