Let's start a riot blanket

Let's start a riot and make a blanket with all the scrap yarn in all the colours you can find! Of course, you can use balls of yarn too if you like. You tie them all together making some big giant balls. There's a link to a tutorial in the pattern on just how to do that. After that, cake them up with your yarnwinder for easier crocheting. You can make this blanket in DK yarns, or worsted or aran, whatever stash you might have on hand. That's the beauty of it, anything goes!
