This hat is worked bottom-up, starting with a hdc in the 3rd loop ribbing. Options are included for a fitted or slouchy style beanie. Worsted weight yarn is used in this pattern. If you have a heavier worsted weight yarn, you should check your gauge, as that may result in a larger hat. I used less than one skein of both Malabrigo Rios and Lion Brand ZZ Twist.
