I used the double crochet stitch, which is a great stitch to use if you're intimidated about crocheting such a large piece. Since these stitches are so tall (1 stitch = 1" in height), you'll be finished an entire sweater in no time; many of my testers finished in 3 days or less and had never made a garment before. Making your first sweater can be intimidating, but I want to show you how easy (and quick) it can really be if you find the right pattern! The turtleneck and fitted sleeves give it a modern look and help balance out the boxy-ness of the body of the sweater. I designed this because I wanted a chunky statement sweater that was long enough to cover the bum but didn't look like I was wearing a shapeless rectangle.
