Kelowna Sweater

This guide includes instructions for adding German Short Rows, an alternative to separating and picking up sleeves, and an Italian sewn bind-off tutorial complete with photos.* The Good Night, Day sweater patterns are written to be easily approachable to everyone- at any knitting level. Using an unrestricted pattern with easy to follow guidelines that are set in place, you can explore a jumping off point to customize. This particular sweater is knit in the easy top-down raglan style using circular needles for a seamless simple construction. The knitting pattern uses xs/s, m/l, xl/xxl measurements as a guide only and can be adjusted for custom fit. The pattern also uses straight forward language to guide you to choose to increase or not for instance, also to try on as you go along if you do choose to create your own custom fit. GAUGE 5 sts is 2” / 5 cm & 6 rows is 2” / 5 cm over stockinette on 17 US / 12 mm circulars MATERIALS Bulky wool, 7 wpi / 560–980 approx metres *Loopy Mango Mohair So Soft (approx 7 skeins for XS/S, 7.5 skeins for M/L, 8–9 skeins XL/XXL) OPTIONALLY: *Katia Ingenua Mohair (holding 2 strands) (approx 7.5–8 skeins for XS/S, 8–8.5 skeins for M/L, approx 9–9.5 skeins for XL/XXL) 11 US / 8 mm circulars, 16” / 40 cm around 11 US / 8 mm circulars, 24–32” / 60–80 cm around (optionally for tighter waist ribbing) 13 US / 9 mm circulars, 24–32” / 60–80 cm around 17 US / 12mm circulars, 24–32” / 60–80 cm around Stitch markers, tapestry needle, waste yarn, measuring tape, row counter (optional).
