I held a rustic single ply wool with a strand of silk mohair to get the perfect blend of strength and softness. This sweater is perfect with high waisted trousers and skirts or layered over dresses and tunics. Sometimes I even flip it around and wear a high neck in the front and the V-neck in the back!* **SIZES** 1 (2, 3, 4, 5)(6, 7, 8, 9) #sizeinclusive **FINISHED BUST CIRCUMFERENCE** 40 (44, 48, 52, 56)(60, 64, 68, 72)” 101.5 (112, 122, 132, 142)(152.5, 162.5, 173, 183) cm *Recommended ease is positive 6-12”/15 -30.5 cm; Sample is shown in Size 2 on a 34”/86.5 cm bust with 10”/25.5 cm positive ease. My testers found they preferred going down a size rather than up when between sizes, especially for the larger sizes.* **YARN** Fingering Weight (248 yds (227 m)/50 g) 1570 (1740, 1956, 2201, 2430)(2675, 2897, 3110, 3445) yds 1436 (1591, 1789, 2013, 2222)(2446, 2649, 2844, 3150) m 316 (350, 394, 443, 490)(539, 584, 627, 694)g Mohair (459 yds (420 m)/50 g) 1112 (1233, 1386, 1560, 1722)(1895, 2053, 2203, 2440) yds 1017 (1127, 1267, 1426, 1574)(1733, 1877, 2015, 2232) m 121 (134, 150, 169, 187)(206, 223, 240, 265) g *Fingering weight and Lace Mohair are held together as one strand. You can also sub in a Sport weight yarn. A number of my testers used Sport weight yarn successfully. If you purchase the weight amount called for under Fingering (IE 316 g for size 1) then you should have enough to complete the sweater. Keep in mind gauge and any modifications will effect this number and this is only a suggestion.* **SUGGESTED YARN** The Farmers Daughter Fibers Soka’pii 100% Rambouillet Wool (248 yds (227 m)/50 g) in Elk Antler 7 (7, 8, 9, 10)(11, 12, 13, 14) skeins The Farmers Daughter Fibers Mighty Mo 70% Kid Mohair, 30% Silk (459 yds (420 m)/50 g) in Napi 3 (3, 3, 4, 4)(5, 5, 5, 6) skeins **SUGGESTED NEEDLES** Main Fabric: US 5/3.75 mm – 32”/80 cm to 40”/100 cm circular and preferred needles for small circum. knitting (Magic Loop or DPNs) Ribbing: US 3/3.25 mm - 32”/80 cm to 40”/100 cm circular and preferred needles for small circum. knitting (Magic Loop or DPNs), plus a spare for the Tubular Bind Off. *(Use the needle size you need to achieve gauge.
