This is considered an intermediate skill level pattern. You must be familiar with shell stitch. The pattern as written will fit most common size water bottles but info will be provided on how to adjust your cozy to fit taller water bottles. Gauge: 10 hdc by 10 hdc = 2 inches Final Measurements: Not counting the strap this finished water bottle holder measures 9 ½ inches long by 4 ½ inches wide. Materials: You will need 125 yards of worsted weight yarn, 3.00 mm crochet hook, and tapestry needle. Let’s Talk Yarn! You will need 125 yards of worsted weight yarn. You could use acrylic yarn, or you could you #4 medium weight cotton yarn. Be aware that acrylic yarn is known to stretch more than cotton yarn.
