Japanese Knot Produce Bag

I grew up carrying my own grocery bags, but for some reason it never clicked that I could replace those flimsy plastic bags from the produce section. Well, it finally did, and I've been making these little things for a while now. They work up in no time. Depending on the size they weigh between 5 and 19 grams; and I always have 3 or 4 of them balled up in my grocery bag. ("Machine washable, Daaahling. It's a new feature.") No more plastic bags! Please copy and pass this pattern around freely, spread the word, make them for your non-crocheting friends (whaaat?), and let's get rid of as many plastic bags as we can.
