Snowflake Mykonos

Crochet a whole bunch of these snowflakes and use them as ornaments for the Christmas tree, pretty window decorations or holiday gift toppers. Make it snow and have a Merry Christmas! To make this snowflake, I used cotton thread size 10 and a 2 mm crochet hook. Its final size is 7,5 cm (3 inches) in diameter. You can use heavier thread and bigger hook, or thinner thread and smaller hook and you will have a bigger or a smaller motif. You will also need a needle to weave in loose ends and a pair of scissors. To stiffen the snowflakes you will also need white pva glue, stainless steel pins (or toothpicks), plastic wrap and some kind of foam/blocking board.
