Mathom Beanie

The **Mathom Beanie** is finally updated! **It’s available to buy from Hobbii’s website [HERE][1]!** This beautiful and fluffy beanie is a great addition to your fall/winter accessories and will keep you warm during the cold season! It works up quick and the texture created by the different stitches gives you a unique look! The beanie is made with two different yarns, strands held together: 1 strand of Extra Fine Merino for warmness and 1 strand of Kid Silk for fluffiness. If you dont want to use the recommended yarn, the pattern works fine with any aran/worsted weight yarn too. **Special thanks to my testers:** *Cheryl Freeman Kerry Freeman @Redteapotatelier Michelle Schneider Ágnes Viktória Szücs* **Difficulty:** Intermediate **Finished Size:** This pattern has the instructions for 5 sizes, starting from toddler size to adult size (the adult size has 2 different sizing options) **Materials needed:** • 4.5mm (G+) Hook *(I used Furls Bocote Alpha)* • Hobbii Friends Extra Fine Merino and Hobbii Friends Kid Silk held together in the following quantities *(I used Color 52-Dusty Rose)*: o Toddler: 25-30 grams (1-1 ball of each) o Child Small: 30-35 grams (1-1 ball of each) o Child Large: 40-45 grams (1-1 ball of each) o Adult Small/Medium: 45-50 grams (1-1 ball of each) o Adult Large: 55-60 grams (2-2 balls of each) or alternatively you can use any other aran/worsted yarn suitable ***(Note: Using aran/worsted weight yarn changes the yarn quantities required!)*** • Yarn needle for weaving in ends • Scissors • Stitch markers • Faux Fur Pompom **US terms** used throughout **NO CHART/DIAGRAM AVAILABLE!** It is available to download as a photo tutorial and it has a print friendly version too.
