Baby Selbu Mittens

This pattern has three designs to choose between, all inspired by traditional Noregian Selbu motifs. The mitten will be approx. size 3-6 months, and the two mittens are held together by an i-cord. The pattern has written instructions as well as charts, and there are pictures and explanations of the different techniques used. There are no thumbs on these mittens. The working method described in the pattern, is bottom up on dpns, but magic loop would also work. **Size:** 3-6 months. The finished measurements are 14.5 cm (5.7”) total length; the hand 8.5 cm (3.3”) from tip to cuff, and the cuff 6 cm (2.4”). Hand circumference is 13 cm (5.1”). **Gauge:** 36 sts & 36 rnds per10 cm (4 in) **Materials:** • Yarn: Sport/baby/fine weight wool yarn (175 metres per 50 grams).
