Captain Picard Amigurumi

Our latest creation is the the Enterprise's Captain, and star of Star Trek The Next Generation, Jean-Luc Picard. Finished Size: Approximately 28 cm (11 inches) tall using 3 mm hook, approximately 20 cm (8 inches) tall using 2.75 mm hook. Materials: • Yarn 8 ply/DK or appropriate in flesh, black, red, light grey, white and yellow. • Crochet hook (3 mm or 2.75 mm) or appropriate • Safety eyes (optional, can be embroidered instead) • Stuffing You can use any yarn and crochet hook combination that gives you good tension. Normally this would be a hook around two sizes smaller than that recommended on the yarn label. For Captain Picard I used a 2.75 mm hook with 8ply/DK acrylic yarn. The pattern is written in English with US crochet terminology.
