Cascata

Cascata means Waterfall in Portuguese and this is a tee thought out for warm days and relaxed walks. Knitted in 100% linen yarn that adds the needed comfort and lightness. This linen yarn although it feels tough at first, it softens with wear and washes. Is a great choice for summertime because is a natural fibre, really light, fresh and breathable. Cascata is knit from the top down and seamlessly. The yoke is formed with yarn over increases. In the armhole, sleeves are bound off and the body is worked with the lace sidebar that grows along with the length of the top, just like a waterfall. GAUGE 24 sts e 34 rows – 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 3 mm needle, washed and blocked (it’s important to wash and block the swatch since the stitch count changes after the first wash). YARN 6 (6, 7) skeins of Alfama from Rosários 4, colour 11 (50g/125 m). NEEDLES 3,0 mm circular needle (if necessary, adjust the needle size to match the gauge).
