This sweater is knit seamlessly and from the top down starting with a simple rolled neckline. The pattern includes options for short or long sleeves - choose what's best for your climate and lifestyle. This sweater is light enough to wear on cool summer nights while being equally useful for layering during the colder months. My example is shown with 5" positive ease. With a gauge of 22 sts over 4" / 10cm, fingering or sport weight yarn is suitable for this design. It's especially well suited to handyed yarn: merino singles or plied fingering weight will both yield good results. Anaashah is the Native Alaskan Eyak people's word for wildflower. You simply cast on and knit a few rows before starting the yoke shaping. A couple short rows are added above the colorwork and then the colorwork yoke is worked. A few more short rows are worked and then the body and sleeves are separated and worked in the round. The body is straight and is designed to be worn with ease. Instructions for short or long sleeves are included.
