**Polkagris Kerchief** A jolly candy-striped kerchief, named for the famous Swedish confection. Designed to make the most of a couple of mini skeins, this kerchief is a quick and simple knit. [A Polkagris kit is available, (including yarn and pattern for just £10) from the KDD shop][1] **Yarn** Kate Davies Designs Milarrochy Tweed (70% Wool; 30% Mohair; 100m / 109yds per 25g ball) in the following shades: A Cranachan x 1 ball B Hirst x1 ball **Needles and notions** 60-80cm gauge-size needle(s) above gauge-size needle (any length) for bind off. 4 stitch markers. Tapestry needle. **Gauge** 24 sts and 38 rows to 10cm / 4in over garter stitch worked back and forth. Gauge was achieved on 3.25mm / US 3 needle. **Size** Width: 100cm / 39.5in Depth: 30 cm / 12in **Pattern notes** This garter stitch kerchief begins by casting on a few stitches at the centre back neck.
