Lacy Leaves Hat

Slouchy or beanie style hat with a brim that is made to allow comfortable stretching, almost like knit! The pattern is written to be adjusted to any size within the repeat of the pattern, based on measurements, but I've personally only used it to make adult sized hats. Suggested materials: Size E hook Approx. 300 yards of sock weight wool yarn (adult sized hat) Yarn needle (Optional) Pom pom Solid colored or tonal yarn works best for this project so that the lace can be visible. I've included pictures of the hat using varigated yarn as well. The photos show the slouchy hat style, with and without a pom pom. Use sock weight wool for an extra warm hat with a stretchy brim that can protect your ears! Pattern is worked in the round and does not decrease. The tube is cinched at the end of the hat for slouchy fit. This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners, special stitches include HDC, back stitch only HDC, DC, DC2tog, DC3tog. Errata: Row 2 has been altered slightly to include 'skip 2 st' at the end of each repeat, which was ambiguous before.
