Granny Rocco Bags

1 cone of cotton yarn + a 9-hour road trip + inspiration from Bob Wilson = The Granny Rocco Bag! Then of course, one size couldn’t possibly be enough…so I came up with five! XS-XL **XS** is just for fun. It's just big enough to hold your average sized coffee mug. Which is great since they make such great welcome & thank you gifts! **SM** is just the right size for gifting. It's the perfect gift bag for practically everything including Easter goodies. You're welcome! LOL. **MD & LG** (my fave!) are great project & market bags. I use these two sizes every week for my shopping & errands. All the compliments are a serious bonus! **XL** is the best size for the beach! I suppose it could be used for quite alot of things, but my daughter says it's excellent for toting my granddaughter's gear to & from the beach and leaving most of the sand there! The **BASE & SIDES** of the bag are **BEGINNER to ADVANCED BEGINNER FRIENDLY**. It's just a Granny Square with one special stitch and a decrease! What makes this pattern really special, though, is the shaping of the handles. It's taken me a while to perfect this technique. There are **SEVERAL SPECIAL DECREASES in the HANDLES** that are definitely **INTERMEDIATE**. As usual though, I've included a **COMPLETE PHOTO TUTORIAL FOR ALL SPECIAL STITCHES** and the BASE & SIDES (just in case). Plus, the **PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION** for those of us that still do that!
