Chunky Walnut

The CHUNKY WALNUT hat pattern is first of all an easy, well-fitting knit-one-purl-one pattern. It´s a fast knit with chunky- weight wool yarn, perfect for a last-minute knitted gift. Love the seamless transition from ribbed brim to lace pattern and the crown decreases, which are part of the pattern too. The CHUNKY WALNUT hat is worked up quickly and fully reversible. Two versions are given: with a single brim as a modern beanie or a longer brim to be folded over (using up a complete skein of yarn). Wear the WALNUT hat for impenetrable warmth and for a hip accessory. Wear it one way out or the other, cuffed or uncuffed and slouchy… The CHUNKY WALNUT hat is like four hats in one! Use neutral colors, tonal/ solid or variegated / gradient. The pattern is so addictive, I could not resist to knit two hats in one go! Pattern is worked in the round from the bottom up.
