Realistic Badger

This is a .pdf crochet pattern, written in standard American crochet terms. With this very easy pattern, you can make a realistic badger plushy. **Size of finished animal** Made with worsted weight yarn: 7.8 inch / 20 cm long from nose to tail. **The crochet pattern contains** An intro with useful info. List of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right. **Materials** For this crochet badger you'll need worsted weight yarn and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You'll need three colours of yarn: mixed black (1/4 of a 100 yard skein), grey (1/2) and white (1/5). These quantities are estimates. For the eyes I've used 8 mm animal eyes. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for a bit of extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). Lopi colour numbers: black 0005, grey 0057 and white 0051. You also need a hard (animal) brush to brush your badger to get fuzzy. **Yarn** Istex Lett lopi. I strongly recommend using a fuzzy yarn because it gives the best result. Gauge is unimportant for this pattern. If the pieces are crocheted tightly enough, they will not gape visibly when stuffed.
