After 2 year I've made my third childhood sweater - finally a tweedy one! And I took the chance to update the pattern and add 3 more sizes. ... *When I saw this great colorway "storm" from Studio Meez, I know this will become my childhood sweater. It reminds me of careless and relaxing days of my childhood, when my sister and I wearing our much-loved sweaters.* CHILDHOOD is worked seamlessly from the top down. After working the collar, the neck is shaped with short rows, and the dropped saddle shoulders are formed with increases along the shoulder markers. Back and fronts are then worked separately to the base of the armhole, then rejoined and the body is worked in rounds down to the ribbing or optional rounded hem. Sleeves are picked up and worked down from the armholes to the cuff SIZES XS (S, M, L, XL)(XXL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL) Finished bust circumference: 95 (104, 112, 119, 126)(133, 144, 151, 158) cm 37.5 (41, 44, 46.75, 49.5)(52.5, 56.75, 59.5, 62)” The sweater is best worn with approx. (12-16 cm) (4 – 6.25 in) of positive ease at the bust. GAUGE: 24 sts x 34 rs/rds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in Stst on main needle, blocked MATERIALS: 6 stitch markers, Waste yarn or stitch holder, spare needle SUGGESTED NEEDLES: 3,25 mm (US 3) circular needle, 80 cm (32 in) and DPNs for the sleeves (or longer circular needle for magic loop) + 2,5 mm (US 1.5) circular needle, 40 cm (16 in) and 80 cm (32 in) for ribbing and DPNs for the sleeve ribbing (or longer circular needle for magic loop). YARN: 3 (3, 4, 4, 4)(5, 5, 5, 6) skeins of Debbie Bliss Fine Donegal, (95% Merino, 10% Cashmere), 380m (415 yrds)/100g.
