Peridot Textured Beanie

Red Heart sent me free samples of the Red Heart Super Saver Yarn to try and with it I am designing some new free hat patterns for you! This easy to crochet hat pattern is worked in a continuous spiral. The beautiful texture created by the enlarged band adds a great design element perfectly suited for both men and women. You can substitute any yarn and hook for this stitch pattern – just remember when you substitute if your gauge is different, the finished size of your project will also be different. **Pattern Notes:** * This project is worked in continuous rounds. You do not need to slip stitch to join, or ch 3 at the beginning of any of the rounds; instead mark the first stitch with a stitch marker and just keep crocheting around the hat for each round. * This hat is basically seamless. * The length of this hat is to the base of the earlobe, but I have also provided instructions at the end of each size to make the hat shorter. * If you are having trouble maintaining your gauge on the post stitch rounds please change your hook to the next size up 6 mm (J) to help you relax your gauge for the post stitch rounds only.
