Its In My Genes

Its In My Genes I designed this pattern because my young son is diagnosed with a rare genetic condition and I wanted to both raise awareness for the condition and to show love and support to him. The space at the bottom of the blanket where the genetic condition is written is spaceous enough so that it can be left out and replaced with any medical condition you want to add to personalise your blanket for the special someone you love to show support for their uniqueness. I used 8 balls of 4 seasons spotsaver in light blue, 1 in purple and 1 in dark blue with some of one in rainbow. This will vary depending on what yarn you use and your own way of crocheting. I used a 5.5mm hook for the 10ply yarn but you can replace that with whatever is comfortable for you but this may change the outcome of the blanket. It is big enough to fit a childs single size bed.
