Pinholes Socks

A delicate eyelet and purl pattern gives the Pinholes Socks their name, creating little “pinholes” of texture that travel across the leg and foot. These socks are a fun, engaging knit with just enough patterning to keep things interesting while letting your yarn shine. Worked from the cuff down with a classic flap heel construction. The pinholes motif creates visual interest while remaining relaxing and intuitive to knit as the pattern is easily memorizable. Materials: 100g sport weight sock yarn. Sample size was knit for a size M and used 60g of Biscotte Yarns La Douce MCN sport-weight yarn (115 g = 320 m [382 yds]) Darning needle Stitch markers Needles: 2.75mm / US 2 circulars using Magic Loop or needle size to get gauge. Note: You can also work this pattern on DPN’s by dividing the stitches as needed across the needles. As well as 9” circulars, using stitch markers as needed to divide for N1 and N2.
