First, the back yoke is worked flat while short rows shape the shoulders. Stitches are then picked up for each front shoulder and worked separately flat, with short rows shaping the shoulder slopes. Next, the front and back pieces are joined at the underarms to form the body, which is worked flat back and forth on circular needles in the lace pattern and finished with a 1x1 ribbing hem. The short sleeves are worked in the round from stitches picked up along the armholes and are finished with 1x1 ribbing. Finally, stitches are picked up along the front edges and neckline to work the integrated buttonband and collar in 1x1 ribbing. **Important Note** Knit a swatch before beginning the project to check if your gauge matches the pattern. *Pattern features both charts and written instructions. The written instructions act as a supportive companion to help you navigate the charts with ease.* **Size guide** Please take your body measurements before choosing your size. This blouse is designed with an oversized, relaxed fit and features approximately 15 cm / 6 inches of positive ease at the bust and 7 cm / 2¾ inches at the upper arm. Finished garment measurements can be found in the schematic to help you select the size that best matches your preferred fit. Please note that these are the measurements of the finished blouse, not your body. Plant-based yarns like the one used in this pattern lack elasticity and tend to stretch vertically after washing. Please keep this in mind when deciding on the length of the garment.
