Cheeky Check Case

A fun little project with a clever construction — knit in one piece that becomes both the outer shell and the lining, with a woven check pattern added afterwards for a lovely tweed-like effect. Finished off with an i-cord edge and a simple i-cord loop-and-button closure. **Size:** One size – finished measurements 19.5 x 9 cm **Needles:** 2.5 mm (shell) and 3 mm (lining), circular or double-pointed **Gauge:** Lining (stocking stitch) 28 sts x 35 rows = 10x10 cm / Shell (ridges) 26 sts x 38 rows = 10x10 cm **Yarn used (all from stash leftovers):** Colour A – Tynn Peer Gynt (1042) Colour B – Tynn Peer Gynt (1002) Colour C – Drops Alpaca, dark grey (506) Colour D – Rauma Finullgarn (403) A great little scrap yarn project — every colour is used in small amounts, and I still had leftovers of all four after finishing the case. Highly recommend for using up your yarn stash!
