About the pattern ----------------- Keep your head cool while looking pretty with this knit lace bandana that features an all-over leaf lace pattern. It is worked bottom-up from a point and can be increased to any size, due to the easily repeated motif. The increases that are part of the leaf design are also those that shape the bandana. The central decreases create veins within the leaves. Use cotton yarn for a summer bandana or thicker wool yarn for a cozy winter bandana. In a thicker yarn and with larger needles, you can continue the pattern with more repeats to make a cozy shawl. Measurements ------------ When meeting gauge and working all rows in the pattern, the triangle measures 60 cm across the top and 28 cm in depth, due to the slight elasticity of the lace pattern.
