Birch Socks

The Birch Socks are a lovely cable knit sock worked from the cuff down, finishing with the toe. They are started with a cuff worked in twisted rib, followed by the leg worked in the cable pattern. The heel flaps are worked with a reinforced heel flap and gusset. Yarn: 100g of fingering weight yarn. Sample knit in Sewrella Yarn Nylon Sock. Needles: US 1/2.25mm circular needle or whatever needle meets gauge; cable needle Notions: Tapestry needle for weaving in ends Gauge: 38 stitches per 4 inches/10cm Sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4) - designed to fit foot circumference of approximately 6.5in/16.5cm, 7.25 in/18cm, 8 in/20cm, 9in/23cm. Recommended negative ease for these socks is 0.5 in/1.25cm. Always measure at the widest part of your foot.
