It is worked from the bottom-up increasing every row so you can knit until you're done or stop anytime. Adjust the needle size and gauge to suit your yarn and plan your yarn purchases accordingly. The knit/purl texture shows well with solid color yarns. A yarn that is composed of multiple plies or a smooth yarn paired with a lace weight brushed yarn will really make the texture pop. The scarf is finished with a sewn bind-off and gentle pin blocking to open the eyelets and smooth out any curling on the bound off edge. Some yarns may curl more than others and if you find blocking doesn’t resolve the curl, a round of single crochet will stabilize the edges.
