June Tee & Sweater

June Tee / Sweater is a raglan-knit sweater worked from the top down. It includes options for both a T-shirt version and a long-sleeved sweater, making it easy to adjust the length and use of the garment according to your preferences. The neckline is shaped with short rows for a better and more comfortable fit. The raglan increases shape the yoke while the body and sleeves are worked seamlessly. The sweater is worked in stripes, and you can choose between two yarn combinations: fingering + lace for a soft and airy result, or fingering + fingering for more defined and lighter-weight stripes. The pattern includes instructions for bust shaping. Choosing a size The sweater is designed with approximately 5 cm (2") of positive ease, giving a relaxed fit around the body without feeling too tight. Start by measuring your own bust circumference and add 5 cm (2") for the desired positive ease. Choose the size whose finished bust circumference is closest to your calculated measurement. Example: My bust circumference is 102 cm (40¼"). When I add 5 cm (2") of positive ease, I get 107 cm (42¼") (102 cm + 5 cm = 107 cm / 40¼" + 2" = 42¼"). I therefore choose the size whose finished bust circumference is closest to 107 cm (42¼"), in this case size 7. If you fall between two sizes, choose the smaller size if you prefer a more fitted look, or the larger size if you want a little more ease.
