For this summer top, I wanted to create a simple design that could be finished with just a cast-on and a basic bind-off, rather than requiring a long list of finishing techniques. Since linen stitch naturally lies flat without curling, there’s no need for edging or ironing—just knit it, finish it, and wear it comfortably. The simpler the garment, the more important the details are. ✔️ Bust darts help reduce gaping at the bust and prevent the front from riding up, ✔️ Overlapping shoulder details create a clean and polished silhouette. This is a top-down, written pattern that includes selected tutorial videos, photos, and schematics.
